This study examines the impact of the business environment on the transformation of Buyout Al-Ezz Company for Building Materials in Libya from a sales-oriented firm to a market leader. Using the case study method and interviews with top and middle management, the research found that reducing corruption, improving access to finance, enhancing infrastructure, and promoting flexible trade regulations and human capital significantly strengthen the company’s ability to achieve market leadership. The study recommends focusing on customer value, investing in research and development, and leveraging data analytics and artificial intelligence to sustain competitive advantage and leadership in the market
