Abstract

The study aimed to identify the impact of digital transformation and its dimensions — top management support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity — in enhancing sustainable development at the Specialized Training Center for Oil Industries in Al-Zawiya. To achieve the objectives of the study and test its hypotheses, the descriptive approach was adopted. A specially designed questionnaire was developed and distributed to a purposive simple sample of (35) individuals, of which (30) valid questionnaires were retrieved for analysis. The data were processed using the statistical program (SPSS).

The study reached several findings, the most important of which are: the existence of a positive impact of all dimensions of digital transformation (top management support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity) in enhancing sustainable development at the Specialized Training Center for Oil Industries in Al-Zawiya. It also revealed that top management plays a decisive role in driving sustainable development by adopting supportive strategies and providing the necessary resources. Furthermore, digital infrastructure was found to be one of the main factors in promoting sustainable development, while digital transformation acts as a strong driving force toward enhancing sustainable development in the oil industry sector. The study emphasized the need to establish a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that includes developing human resources and strengthening the digital culture at all administrative levels to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
