Abstract

The study primarily aims to identify the essential role that green hospital plays in prom0tial sustainable development within the health sector. It includes understanding the specific requirement within of green hospitals and third sustainable Development Goal of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. The study population consists of all employees at the Nati0nal center for Disease Control. Due to the nature of the study and the sensitivity of the required data a targeted sample Was taken from the 0fficials and doctors within the center including and administrative staff. This study has reached several conclusions including;

  1. Most employees at the national center for disease control are university graduates specialized in financial and administrative sciences with extensive experience exceeding 15 years.
  2. The requirements for green hospitals are available within the national center for disease control as the center has ensured that buildings are designed in an environmentally manner harmonizing with nature utilizing energy- efficient and providing it through rainwater harvesting and wastewater recycling. The center f0ll0ws sustainable and environmentally friendly waste management practices and trains employees to encourage their participation in sustainable environmental initiatives.
