Submission Guidelines
- 1. The paper must contribute to advancing knowledge in the field of the Al-Ghad Medical Journal.
- 2. The research must meet academic standards, including an abstract, problem statement, literature review, methodology, data analysis, findings, and recommendations.
- 3. Papers are accepted in both Arabic and English.
- 4. Proper linguistic and grammatical rules must be followed.
- 5. The paper must not be part of a previously submitted thesis, or published elsewhere, or under review in another journal or conference.
- 6. Quranic verses must be correctly cited and vowelized when used.
- 7. The paper must be typed on A4 paper and submitted either digitally or via email, and should be between 15 to 27 pages.
- 8. All submissions are subject to peer review, and final acceptance depends on the reviewers' evaluations.
- 9. Authors must revise their papers according to reviewers' comments within 15 days of receiving the feedback.
- 10. Withdrawal of a paper after submission for review is not permitted without justification accepted by the editorial board.
- 11. A summary in both Arabic and English (no more than 200 words) must accompany the paper, followed by 5–7 keywords.
- 12. The editorial board reserves the right to make minor changes without affecting the content.
- 13. A separate sheet must include the author's full name, current position, academic degree, institution, contact information, and a brief CV.
- 14. In-text citations must include the author's name and year; direct quotes must include page numbers.
- 15. All cited references must be listed at the end in alphabetical order: Arabic references first, then English, unnumbered, formatted as follows:
- a. Books: Author(s) (Year), Book Title, Editor/Translator (if any), Edition, Publisher, Volume.
- b. Journal Articles: Author(s) (Year), "Article Title", Journal Name, Publisher, Country, Volume, Issue.
- c. Theses: Author (Year), Title, Awarding Institution.
- d. Online sources: Author(s) (Year), Title, Website name and URL, Date accessed.
- 16. Only one paper per author is allowed per issue.
- 17. Published articles are the property of Al-Ghad Medical Journal and may not be reproduced in any form without permission from the editor-in-chief.
- 18. Formatting guidelines:
- a. Arabic papers: Simplified Arabic; English papers: Times New Roman; single line spacing.
- b. Font sizes:
- - 18 bold for main titles
- - 16 bold for subtitles
- - 14 for Arabic text, 12 for English text
- - 10 for footnotes
- c. Margins:
- - Top and bottom: 2.5 cm
- - Right: 3 cm
- - Left: 2.5 cm
